Children have a seed inside that needs nourishment to grow. The seed is their own, we simply support it in its development.

JOIN US IN THE GARDEN

Children’s Garden seeks to provide children and families with the foundation skills necessary for a well balanced lifetime of exploration. The Universal Child Program draws insight from contemporary pedagogical theory based on Reggio Emilia concepts of early learning, exploration and approaches to children’s culture and development. Documentation in the form of My Book and formal written Assessments provide the parent and child with an interactive registry of the child’s growth and development. Through emphasis on natural rhythms and patterns of life, The Universal Child Program encourages young children to develop a deep connection with their environment, and expand intercultural competence in a multicultural, multilingual setting.

Curriculum goals dovetail with international as well as Danish requirements for preschool learning, and meet the standards for direct entry to, the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program, the British Key Stage One, as well as Scandinavian school systems. A childhood at Children’s Garden ensures family goals for continued education by a personal learning plan, geared to support the individual child through the ages of 2-6.

Children’s Garden is home to a professional, knowledgeable staff dedicated to progressive pedagogical approaches in early learning. Our commitment is to provide families with an inspirational and caring environment in which to nurture their young children.
